Hey Stuart,
this is Roman from germany. We met in march running with alex in beautiful Central Park, a couple of days before you left to france. Read about your experiences in china, must have been nice to somehow be "part of the games"!
Would you mind contacting me (roman.rossmann [at] gmx.de) concerning the NYC marathon this year? are you still in contact with alex?
thanks a lot, roman

Thanks for the blogging, Mary!!! I posted a couple of Brian Sell pics on my own blog from Beijing, as my vantage point was at the entrance to the tunnel that leads into the Bird's Nest. What an incredible Olympiad.

I am thoroughly confused as to why almost no one on any website, in any newspaper, or on TV has mentioned Paula Radcliffe. She is the fastest woman marathoner of all time. If Michael Jordan didn't finish a game we would hear about it, yet no one mentions Paula. I am not British, but I admire her a lot. how about her bad luck?

Shalane , this is so great ! Congratulations.
The only thing that makes me sad is that even one day later there are 5 images online that I have found so far and a video recap of about 10 seconds.
And i am wondering for who the Olympics are if i am not able to watch them.
Mary , do something !
